CHILDHOOD MEMORIES (PARAGRAPH)

CHILDHOOD MEMORIES
(Paragraph)

My childhood was full of events and enjoyment. Some of those events still thrill me. I spent my childhood in my native village with my parents, grandparents and uncles. My grandmother loved me very much. I passed my days very happily there. My first day at school was one of my most memorable events. I went to school riding on the shoulder of my uncle. He took me to the Headmaster who asked me some questions. I was very nervous, but I could answer them all. All the teachers of the school were very friendly. They used to teach us with great care and affection. My classmates were friendly and cooperative too. They became my playmates. Writing from dictation doing sums, reciting poems and ethical words loudly, singing, drawing etc. were our regular works at school. Again swimming in the river or pond, climbing trees, stealing mangoes from orchard, playing different games like `gollacchue, `kana machi', `dariabandha' etc. were also very enjoyable. The death of my beloved grandmother was the bitterest experience of my childhood. I was greatly shocked at it. Actually, my childhood was very enjoyable. When I recollect my childhood days, I feel very happy.

DEFORESTATION (PARAGRAPH)

DEFORESTATION
Paragraph

Deforestation is just opposite to the concept of tree plantation. It refers to the act of cutting and burning down of forests indiscriminately. In a word, it is the destruction of trees and plants of our environment. It has many adverse effects on our environment and our life. It destroys the ecological balance of our environment. Due to deforestation, many species of birds and animals have already been extinct and many others are faced with the threat of extinction. Because of deforestation, it doesn't rain adequately and this causes long-term drought which may turn the whole country into a desert. Apart from this, deforestation also hampers our agricultural production. In fact, our environment is going to be uninhabitable for deforestation. However, there is one way to save ourselves and our environment from it and that is, we should start a mass campaign for tree plantation. For this we should raise awareness among the mass about the adverse sides of deforestation as well as about the importance of tree plantation. In this regard, my suggestion is that we should plant at least one tree every month and if we cut one, we should plant three. I can do it effectively by planting trees so that others are encouraged to do the same. I think all men or women, old or young should come forward and plant at least one tree to save our existence.

AN IDEAL STUDENT (PARAGRAPH)

AN IDEAL STUDENT
Paragraph

A student who is sincere to his/her study, cooperative to his/her classmates and obedient to his/her teachers is an ideal student. Actually he/she is more than this. He/she must possess some certain qualities so that he/she is to be followed by other students. The first and foremost duty of an ideal student is to study hard. He/she should not idle away his/her time. He should be punctual, disciplined and industrious. He should avoid bad companies. It is also his/her responsibility to help his/her weaker classmates. He/she should also be cooperative to his/her family. An ideal student does not confine himself to the prescribed books only; rather he/she studies many other reference books to enrich his/her knowledge. He never learns his/her lessons by rote. He/she always takes an active part in other co-curricular activities of the school. These make him/her different from other students. An ideal student should be polite in his/her behaviour as it highlights his/her other qualities. I want to be an ideal student. For this, I always try to utilize my time. I sit to study while it is time for studying and play while it is time for playing. I am cooperative to my classmates. I read newspapers, magazines and other books beside my academic ones.

Air Pollution (Paragraph)

AIR POLLUTION
Paragraph

Air is the most essential element for our life and environment. Without it our existence is impossible. Air pollution means the contamination of this essential air. Air pollution mainly occurs in the cities and towns, especially in the industrialized ones. A large number of factories are actively responsible for polluting air. Carbon dioxide is the chief cause for air pollution. The burning of trash, diesel and other chemical substance in cars and vehicles produces a huge amount of carbon dioxide and other harmful gases every day and pollutes air. The cutting and burning down of trees, trash, and the discharge of human waste in the open air also pollute air. For air pollution we suffer from various diseases such as cancer, bronchitis, heart diseases, etc. So in order to prevent pollution we should plant more tress. We should use CNG instead of petrol and diesel. We should not throw trash and waste in the open places.

A SOCIAL PROBLEM (PARAGRAPH)

A SOCIAL PROBLEM
Paragraph
Begging is a social vice. A person who lives by begging is a beggar. A beggar is regarded as a burden to the society and begging is regarded as a serious social problem. It gives nothing to the society. Rather it destroys the prestige of both the person and the society. Begging creates a sense of idleness and irresponsibility in a person. It hampers his good feelings of mind. A number of factors are responsible for this problem. Extreme poverty is the main reason behind this problem., A man feels compelled to beg when he has nothing to eat, feed his family members. But begging has now become a business of some people. These beggars are expert professionals. They are able-bodied beggers. But their mentality is ill and narrow. So begging is not only for poverty but also for mentality. This problem should be addressed soon, The government should arrange some works for this type of people and employ them as soon as possible. This is my suggestion for its remedy.
