BOOK FAIR

A book fair is a kind of fair where different
types of books are displayed for sale. People go to book fairs to find their
desired books. Generally book fairs are arranged on
the occasion of 21"
February, 16th December, 26th March and New Year. The fairs are held in an open
place or in auditoriums or big hall-rooms. They usually remain crowded. People
from all walks of life visit the fairs. From the interest and participation of
people, the popularity of book fair in our country can be realized. All kinds
of books such as fiction, drama, poetry, novel, biography, translation,
children literature, story books etc. are usually available in a book fair.
Last 21' February, I visited Ekushey Boi Mela. I went there in the evening. I
met some renowned authors of our country there. A book fair is really an exceptional place.
It facilitates our reading habits and thus makes us enlightened people. It also
develops our creativity.
